Opportunities - Supporting Our Efforts
Many of the children SSDCS cares for each day face significant challenges in fulfilling their "hopes and dreams." Over half of our children live in low-income families, ten percent are victims of abuse and neglect, many have developmental delays, and still others have serious emotional or behavioral problems. Yet they are extremely resilient and respond positively to the caring and support they receive in our programs.
We creatively use funding form multiple sources to help pay for care for children from low and moderate-income families. We are proud to be a United Way of Massachusetts Bay affiliated agency and our Board of Directors actively seeks community support. Donations are always gratefully accepted and can be mailed directly to Sheri Adlin, Executive Director, South Shore Day Care Services,
200 Middle Street, East Weymouth, MA, 02189.
